This past Sunday morning the world found out the devastating news that a Miami Marlin; Jose Fernandez was killed in a boating accident. He was only at the young age of 24. He and his wife also had their first baby coming, he posted a photo of his wife with her baby bump just about a week prior to the accident. The baseball game that was supposed to take place that night against the Atlanta Braves was cancelled in result of the tragedy that occurred. There was no alcohol or any type of illegal substances found on the scene, but the boat was found flipped over with two bodies underneath it. The boat was travelling at highest speed and when it crashed it was demolished. All of his team mates have said nothing but amazing things about him, and his team as a whole says, “The mound will always belong to #16”.
