This happens with a lot of games. People will remember video games when they were going up so fondly so they’ll see the newer games as not so good or not creative. This happened, and might still happen, with Pokemon. It’s not too serious but people would still argue that one generation was better than another and how people won’t know how it used to be with this or that.

It doesn’t just happen with Pokemon but it was a big deal when Pokemon Black and White came out with Pokemon people thought were not good and Game Freak, the producers of Pokemon, was running out of ideas.

Though these generation wars sound like it’s just bashing on a game it could be a good for the game. It gets people more interested because people keep posting it on the internet. It makes, even people who might now know it well, want to get the game or games to see what people are talking about.
