Del Mar’s French Club is a small club that is working towards getting new members. To be apart of French Club you just need to have an interest about the french culture, language, and/or community. You don’t need to be a french student or know french at all either! It’s open to everyone at Del Mar.
President of French Club, Isabella Inaba, is a junior this year and has taken on the huge role of being the club president. She makes sure everyone’s ideas are heard and taken into account for events that we plan. She is a great example of some of amazing and committed students that are here at Del Mar. She offers her free time to work with the adviser, Mme Saade, to try and make the club a great of an experience for anyone who joins.
French Club meets every other Wednesday in room 38, the french classroom. Everyone is welcome to come and have a place to be at lunch. There is almost always snacks and fun people to be around.
Make sure to keep an eye out around campus for posters giving details about future events like movie nights, fundraisers, and tables set up during food fairs! French Club also post any event that they do on their instagram page (dm_frenchclub_) and snapchat account (dm_frenchclub).
