Star Wars Episode 1 3-D is a prequel to the original 3 stars wars films created in the 80′s. Star Wras Episode 1 was originally released back in 1999 but reissued in 3-D just a few weeks ago. The film tells the story of how young innocent Anakin Skywalker meets the still padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi. This movie also tells the tale of the beginings of the loveable droids C-3p0 and R2-D2. The film starts with Obi-Wan and his master Qui-Gon Jinn travelling to negotiate a treaty with the Trade Federation to stop their blockade of the planet Naboo when the leader of the trade federation, Nute Gunray, betrays them. While on this mission, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan discover the Sith Lord’s plot to take over Naboo. One thing the viewer needs to know about Star Wars episode 1 is that the movie was already horrible to begin with due to bad acting, and bad scripting. Now with the re-release of the movie in 3-D, the movie only got worse as the 3-D effects were some of the worst I have ever seen. The 3-D was so bad that instead of improving the movie, it only made it worse. Due to the higher ticket price you pay for admission, you are simply paying more money for an eyesore. If you expect to see a lightsaber coming out at you then you should try to avoid this movie for it has a complete lack of any worth while 3-D elements. This film earns 1 star out of a possible 5 star rating.
